Yeah, great car. So great it couldn't even finish the race.

There were two Honda factory turbocharged GT1's entered in LeMans. One car actually finished, but wasn't classified due to not completing 70% of the race distance (only 121 of 298 laps).

The other GT1 car went only 7 of 298 laps before clutch/gearbox failure.

The normally aspirated NSX entered in GT2 actually won the GT2 class and finished 8th overall. It finished 275 of 298 laps.


This car is massive FAIL. Can't even beat a normally aspirated NSX in GT2 class.

it's too bad the clutch failed after 7 laps.

maybe something more reliable.

i remember seeing the nsx GT1 turbo in the first gran turismo game.. thought it was fictional until years later...
