Looking for an inexpensive polisher I have 4 lips from my 3 pc. wheels that I want polished up. I'm working on them right now but it's a bitch. I figured to at least see what it would cost to have someone else do it. Any reccs? |
It's going to cost a lot because someones got to do the work and I'm sure you already found out it's a huge job. Depending on the design of your rims, it will probably cost $100 a rim at least and that's just for polishing the lips. I polished the lips on my rims too and it took me 4-5 hours per rim. If you are going to do it yourself, i suggest finishing 1 rim before you move on to the next rim so that if you decide you don't want to do it anymore, you dont have unfiinished rims laying around. |
try Western Wheelcraft. 80/wheel lips Quote:

Do you guys take the rim off the car and slowly work on it or do you leave it on the car, jack it up and spin the tires? Spring is almost here and i want to polish my lip as well. |
