Nissan 240SX shuts off
 

whenever im driving, say 80km and in 4th gear, i then put it in neutral, it turns off. anyone know whats goin on?

It stalls or does it just cut off, more details man

Only after cruising? Is it a KA or is it a swapped motor?
If you still have one it could be a fouled MAF. If it did it more frequently it could be a bad TPS.
More details would be nice

In mine, it's hard to get started. Starts strong then can die right away. Usually takes me a half dozen starts, then a 5 min wait before it will start and stay running. Once it's warm it will start no problem. I thought at first it was a bat problem, but since it starts up strong ruled that out. I'm really not sure what the problem is, especially since it goes well once it's going.

Stock ECU/flashed/ROM?
Have you adjusted/cleaned your IACV?


Probably the most important question. Do this if you haven't already done so.

clean your maf, iacv and replace coolant temp sensor.
