Technical issues playing youtube videos?

I thought it was my flashplayer, but then I cam across this:

Quote:

Youtube video doesn't play on my PC, almost like it's frozen(the image, but it's black). Like, it doesn't work cause I can HEAR the sound, but the image won't show.

The video does play normally when it's embedded, or when it's feature on my channel, it just doesn't play on youtube when on my IE 8.

It only happens in with Youtube video on their page, other video players on other site work fine.

Here's an image of what happens:

What browser are you using?
Have you updated Adobe Flash?

I am using IE 8.0.

Also, I have updated to the latest Flash Player.

Try resetting the browser settings.

Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> Reset IE Settings

Then run CCleaner (tick all the shit under IE).

And reboot.

It's your home PC, please don't use IE.

I have the same problem every now and then, but nothing a refresh won't fix.
But first, get rid of IE :lol

You only use IE to download better browsers such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.

I've had this problem a couple times and reinstalling flash fixed it every time.
