i remember i had a level 50 ( that was the max level right?) mewtwo and my buddy somehow had a glitched pikachu with preety much 99999 life lol it was a battle that never ended

I can use a lvl 16 Blitzle and ohko a lvl 20 water type.

Scratch is SUPER powerful but bite does nearly the same amount of damage? wtf.

did you forget about Same Type Ability Bonus? thats another 1.5x off the original battle points of the skill.

so scratch with a normal type pokemon would be better than using bite off the same poke

nope, no stab. Its just that it seems like a lot of stronger moves are being learned ealier and that the weaker moves from previous generations have been boosted.

I'm playing Black on my laptop whenever I get free time. I've chosen Tsujarja (Snivy) as my starter. Not sure what my team will look like as of right now though. Possibility that Dageki might be on that team because he has vengeance :D

Bite has higher attack than scratch. Don't forget to factor in EVs, deter values and the nature.

What most people don't know is that Pokemon is quite a complicated game and you actually have to have a lot of skill in prediction to win. None of this matters if you just play casually though. :)

yep, I know all that. It was weird.. maybe I just got a critical scratch that I didn't read lol. I know they up'ed the attack on tackle though.

the formula hasn't changed at all. you're pretty much playing the exact same game with updated graphics and small add-ons. that said, it's a solid game to begin with and for 35 bucks it's worth it if you enjoyed the old ones.

got it today and just played 2.5 hours of it and got my first badge, feelsgoodman :D

wtf are these pokemon? i haven't played for years...
do they keep inventing all new pokemon with each release? or do they recycle old ones and add in a few new ones?

got it today as well, about to fight for my fourth badge.

Bought it on launch day and just power leveled my Water Otter. The electric gym leader was impossible to defeat. >.<
