Health Professionals/ Caregivers - have you heard of RCA Training?

Anyone ever heard of RCA Training? Tried googling this company and all I got was their " website ".

Is this a legit company?

rcatrainingbc.com

This is the e-mail I got from them:

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in this opportunity.

Let me tell you a little more about this so that you can give consideration to your involvement.

I work for an organization called RCA Training BC. We offer free advice to people who are interested in training to become Health Care Assistants.

Very recently we were asked to assist a recruitment organization with a training and job assistance initiative that is designed to help them meet the demand for HCA’s that they currently have and which is growing. The recruiters have many positions in health care that they are struggling to fill.

They need more people in health care in order to fill the many positions that they are asked to assist in.

As part of an initiative to attract people in to this field, they have established an opportunity to get access for people to Health Care Aide training at an established, reputable, accredited college in Vancouver with a substantial scholarship offering. The scholarship offers up to 50% towards tuition fees. There may also be some student loans available for the balance if needed.

We have been asked to assist them by forwarding suitable candidates. A suitable applicant may be someone with experience but no formal education, someone with a genuine interest in health care but little or no experience or someone who has trained in another country or province and needs to gain certification here. Those that participate will receive an unprecedented scholarship towards tuition and assistance in their applications for positions, if they wish to apply for the available positions. Applying for these positions is not an obligation. The recruiters are hoping to generate more interest and suitably qualified applicants to their positions.

The successful applicants will deal directly with the college on all matters relating to their enrollment and payment of fees so there is no money exchanging hands outside of the college setting.

To summarize, the successful applicant will:

- Get their Health Care Aide Diploma from an accredited college
- Have an option to attend college full time OR part time – 1 day a week (options on days)
- Be given up to a 50% reduction off their tuition fees (applies to the full time and part time courses)
- Get assistance with access to positions in health care

If this is of interest to you and you wish be considered for the scholarship and placement opportunity you simply need to write and let me know that you wish to proceed and provide me with a contact phone number.

I have worked in this industry for a long time and I have never before seen such a generous scholarship opportunity. We are hearing from some applicants that they have been given as much as 50% towards their tuition costs. I believe that this is an opportunity not to be missed if you are working in health care and plan on staying in this field.

I wish you all the best,

James

I am not sure about this website, they don't have an address or office anywhere?
If you want to get into this profession why don't you try a local college?

At VCC you can apply for student loans and bursaries. If this is not what you are looking for then please disregard this message.
