Are replica wheels lower quality than any other low end wheel? Even if I saved up and bought the best used set of wheels I can afford, I'm still a student paying tuition and squirreling away a down payment for an apartment. A set of good quality wheels are in my future, but not my near future, so I just buy what I can afford. http://i1090.photobucket.com/albums/.../rotawheel.jpg |
im fine with my rota's.. they may not hold up as well as the authentic mugen's on the track.. but I never track the car so I dont care |

^exactly what i was thinking as well |
The OP on MBWorld.org claims he was going 95kmh and slowed to 80-85 when he saw the change in the concrete which is when the rim decided to split into two pieces. Its apparently 88 km before Golden coming from Revy. Theres alot of factors like tire pressure, speed, suspension to consider though. However the genuine wheels are used on +350KMH cars and cost almost 6,000 a set. So it will steer me away from these 1,000 dollar sets still.. |
