RISE is good people. SS is also good, but prepare to sell an organ apparently.

I was recommended to not go to Rise Auto Salon.
According to my friend, he said their price is cheap, but you pay for what you get. After having his fender pulled, he saw that the surface was very uneven, and was not a very clean job. He ended up going to Speed Syndicate and had them fix it for him

I had my fenders rolled at Rise and they did a decent job with it. No paint cracks or uneven surfaces.

I was also advised not to go and get my rear fender pull at RiISE. I gave it a try anyway since both my rear fenders were rolled all the way. I just needed a slight pull for one, result was quite good with no ripple nor crack. Gave me the 3mm clearance I needed and all for $45.

Go to Gerard. He's done so many rolls/pulls on almost everything, he knows what he's doing. Plus he's a perfectionist, so it will be good.

Plus, doesnt Rise roll with a pipe? LOL, if my fenders are being pipe rolled, might as well do it myself for free...

When Phil referred to rolling with a pipe, he talking about how he did it back in the day.

He mentioned he uses a fender roller now at the shop.

Hah, thanks watching out for a fellow RSer and letting me know my wheels are riding on my fenders LOL

nice meeting you today

So I went to rise and we came to a mutual agreement that I should take off my spacers in the rear, since the pull will lead to paint damage.

So I called Curtis at TSS, and they should be able to help me out, scheduled for Friday!

Jackygor 03-18-2011 07:04 PM

I went to TSS to get my fenders rolled and pulled today. Curtis did a fantastic job, I am very satisfy with his craftsmanship! He was really patient with the pull and roll so my paint would not get damaged. I am officially hellaflushed, or hellafucked, some may say. Hah!

Got my car back the other day as well, still AMAZED with his workmanship on my fenders and my pull was fairly extensive.

spoon.ek9 03-19-2011 11:30 AM

what was the final cost OP? also what was involved? ie, roll, pull, welding, all 3?

i think at the very least i need my rear fenders rolled to clear.. front seems okay.
