cute puppy

where did it got stolen/lost ?

_TiDy_ 03-12-2011 04:35 PM

the store where the puppy was being kept was broken into and the puppy was gone, it was not in our possession yet. And the girl is my girlfriend so don't ask for pictures.

HonestTea 03-12-2011 04:37 PM

very cute puppy!

I hope you find the it!

SupraTTturbo2jz 03-12-2011 04:37 PM

im guessin a pet store since theres stock of those fluval aquarium filters in the pics. glad the puppy was stolen or ran away, those pet stores treat the dogs and cats badly anyway in those cages. whoever stole it probably taking good care of it no money to buy it.

_TiDy_ 03-12-2011 04:42 PM

It was a pet store, I know the owners very well and they treat their dogs (there were only 4 of them) extremely well, probably better than most pet owners. The dogs in their possession are their own dogs just to clarify. The cage that you see was to keep the puppies in a place where they can sleep, the parents are not caged at all, they are free to walk and roam around. If possible, if people could keep to the topic of the missing puppy and not anything else I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks very much.

if someone actually stole this puppy too sell and make profit off it, they must be some hungry motherfuckers.

If they are really hungry.. they don't have to sell the dog..... ;) :troll: I'm kidding..

Sorry to hear about this.. cute puppy

Nlkko 03-12-2011 06:55 PM

Hope you find it.

what breed is it? (sorry not familiar with it)
also check Kijiji for advertisements, there's usually a lot on there...

good luck

_TiDy_ 03-12-2011 10:02 PM

its a maltese cross pom cross poodle. Been checking kijiji as well, thanks for the input =)

Any identifying features of the dog (e.g. tattoos)? And whereabouts (which city) was it stolen from?

Noir 03-13-2011 09:21 AM

Was it the only thing that was stolen?

Just wondering because I'm hypothesizing that if the motivation was profit, then surely the thieves would steal not only the dog but other items of value within the store. Higher chance of it being on ad listing and an aware buyer to find it. If it was only the dog stolen, I'm guessing it's most likely it's for keeps and you'd have a low chance finding it on kijiji, cl or what not.

_TiDy_ 03-13-2011 11:43 AM

No tattoos on the dog just the pictures we have. It was stolen in Vancouver.

It was not the only thing that the thieves stole so it could be for profit possibly? hard to say.

I saw a bum on Friday night asking for money for food for a puppy he was carrying. This was on the Granville strip in downtown.

I believe the puppy was of similar breed. I honestly don't think the puppy belong to him, the puppy was shivering too.
Sorry I am not much help but this is all I got.

TheKingdom2000 03-13-2011 12:08 PM

Say you found the person that stole them. Can you even prove that these dogs belong to you? I'm assuming if there were dog tags on them, they would be taken off. So without identifiable markings, wouldn't you be SOL in the court of law?

adambomb 03-13-2011 12:59 PM

Without any markings, there is no proof the dog belongs to you.

Maybe the owner pulled a fast one and sold the dog to someone else and told you his place was broken into and the dog stolen. Afterall, you said you know the owner very well. Maybe they gave you a "friend" discount then someone came in and offered FULL PRICE for the dog and they sold it.

Did you already pay for the dog? Do you have receipts and documentation? Have you gone to the shop and does it look like it was recently robbed? Were any other dogs stolen?
