After MF Global, do you really trust these banksters with your hard earned money?

where did you end up ordering the pandas from?

JudeChow 05-04-2012 11:40 AM

Hey guys,

Are you guys buying silver right now? It hit $29.XX last night, but as I expected it bounced back up above $30 rather quickly. Perhaps it's psychological support?

Check out my blog: Jude's Rant

Just posted something new regarding silver and gold technical analysis.
Micheal Maloney predicts a big move for silver and gold.

I bought 10oz from a group buy on RFD for $46.50/1oz, now thinking back i should've bought more but at that time i was low on cash. If I was to hoard i should definitely have no problems selling them 60 a piece.

Not sure when this mint from NZ is coming out but with a mintage of 5k im sure the collections would hoard them just like the glass bubble bee coin from canada mint.

Silver dropping so hard... Getting kinda worried now

JudeChow 05-14-2012 01:20 PM

Yes, it's been dropping for a while now, and I don't think we have hit a bottom yet. We are probably close. There is strong support at 26 dollars. I'm not worried--remember what happened in 09? $21 dollars to like $9?? This is silver--it's volatile akin to a roller coaster ride. The fundamentals haven't changed so I'm still confident. It's probably a good time to buy in my opinion.

jeff19 05-16-2012 05:54 PM

Was watching silver all day today. Thought it was gonna break through the support, but managed to stay afloat and rebound itself. There seems to be significant support at $27 as well.. and news of qe3 seemed to give it some push. $26 is the 50% retracement level for reversal and my guess is that we'll probably be hitting the bottom within the next 2 weeks, for both gold and silver. Alot of mining equities look like they're close to hitting major bottoms. Definitely a good time to buy IMO

JudeChow 05-16-2012 07:53 PM

Hey Jeff. I feel the same way. In fact, I updated my blog reflecting this same opinion.

i also was banned for spamming my blog

It's probably a good time to buy. Definitely a great time to buy if you don't have any PMs at all. The point is to have a well balanced portfolio, and most people don't include gold and silver. Don't have much faith in the stock market anymore--it's been basically going sideways for the past 10 years.

spam has been going sideways too

JudeChow 05-16-2012 07:55 PM

It's trading up now...asia's buying.

Nooooooo.... I want it to keep tanking so I can buy more :D I'm transfering some funds now but probably won't be able to make my order till next week, hope the price stays around 27 or lower till then.

Like others have said, I think this is a great buying opportunity. I predict that silver will finish this year close to its nominal high of 50 bucks.

I bet next year is going to be a hell of a ride! :D

Thanks! I have some free time so I thought I would try blogging and see where it goes. I've learned a lot over the past several months in terms of personal finance etc and would just like to share ideas in a more approachable/less intimidating way and also at a more personal level.

No, I haven't seen those videos before, but I just watched a few. I love watching doomsday/conspiracy videos, so this will fall into the category of one of my favorites. I hope the price of silver stays low as well so I can accumulate more. I have to say that it is really addicting. What is your exit strategy btw?

I believe that a huge bubble is going to form in this sector. This bubble will take place in physical gold/silver, gold/silver ETFs, and gold/silver mining shares. I believe this will happen within the next 3-8 years. My goal is to sell at near the top of this bubble. More specifcally, I will be selling in "chunks" to lock in my profits on the way up because I do not think it's physically possible to know precisely where/when the top is when the time comes.

How will you know when we are at or near the top? Do you have indicators that you are looking for like the gold/silver ratio, gold/dowjones ratio, etc.?

I think it will become very obvious as all bubbles are, that is, it's obvious to investors who understand bubbles.

When your neighbours/relatives/friends/mass media who know nothing about markets or said specific investment are blabbing about "must buys" and "so and so made so much money in this." That is when the bubble is in full swing and that is your signal to get prepared for high volatility. A good example is the current housing bubble in Vancouver. And of course, the sheeple still think that these prices are sustainable, this is the best time to sell.

In addition I have price targets for both silver and gold and when those levels are breached, I will start selling.

Lastly, I believe that the traditional gold/silver price ratio of 1:16 will be restored and the gold/dow may reach 1:1.

Silver dropping pretty hard.

Too bad local dealers still sell in $3x.xx range.

Any places to buy OZ's at $2x.xx??

I'm buying on the way down and might sell when it pushes back up.

Online dealers, but they usually have minimums and you'll have to pay for shipping.

JudeChow 05-23-2012 06:50 PM

I usually just buy at VBCE. It's quick, easy, and there are no minimums. Their premiums are pretty reasonable imo. And I buy so little that its probably negligible anyways.
