what happened at UBC today? march 16 2011

So does anyone know what was going on at ubc today? There were police cars with flashing lights by Rose garden along with 2 firetrucks. The roundabout before the stairs going down to rose garden was closed. Were they filming or an incident occured? There were crowds of ppl standing near it.

normally if it is just police cars I would say it's just filming (they use the Chan Center all the time). but when you throw firetrucks into the equation... i have no idea

edit: dammit OP you shoulda said Boston popo

I see they got BC D plates now... last time they used legit looking Mass. plates

Fringe filming!! Totally normal for around that area. They usually film around Buchanan Tower and around Rose Garden Parkade. Boston police and fire dept give it away as a tv set.

Yeah, my buddy an RCMP officer confirmed that Fringe has episodes filming in that area of the UBC campus
