So will Mini try to compete price wise or try to be the other more up-scale competitor?

$22K for the POP edition, WTF? It starts at $16K, must have a ton of extras.

I like this car cause it is small and affordable, I wouldn't want to pay more than $20K.

+1 If I were to get one I'd pass on the automatic and even the A/C, definitely wouldn't even consider the abarth, if the Pop is 22k the abarth would probably be $25 or more easily :/

It's a nice small car. But the options add up quite fast, and by then...there's so much more options at that price point.

Spotted: Another white one on Boundary X Parker today.

but at 25k compared to a mini cooper s at 31, it's quite tempting.

not for me, but for people who buy cars like this

Cooper S , after options, freight/pdi is more of a 35-43K car before HST.

We (as a mini dealer) are not competing with the Fiat. Complete fit and finish, and drive settles everything. Thats to be expected of a premium small car, and MINI's pricing is way more than a FIAT.

They photoshopped the yellow line on the road to a red line.
