AUDIO: ERR 3 message on acura
 

Doh! So I punched in the wrong code for the stereo (after 3 tries) and it gave me an ERR-3 message. In the manual, it says to wait 1 hour with the system on, so that I can punch in the correct code again... but does that mean 1 hour in one sitting? Or can I leave my car off, and turn it on again a few times till the system resets itself after an 1 hour is accumulated?

And I don't want to disconnect the battery? Because I have no clue how to!

Would taking off a fuse be easier for you? if so, find the fuse for the radio and take it out and put it back after an hour as the manual said

Hey i know its an old post but just wondering if you ever got the issue resolved.
If you ever need helping retrieving your radio code or any other issues regarding your acura gimme a pm. For the battery i believe yes it gives you 3 tries. If it fails then you may disconnect your battery for about a minute and reconnect the battery. The system should restart again and you will be able to try again.
