Lizards Thread

So it seems that a lot of people here have dogs and cats - which I absolutely love - but I'm looking to get a Gecko - something simple, but a little cooler than fish. Any love for lizards here on RS?

I'm thinking of a Tokay Gecko - which, IMO is one of the coolest looking lizards out there... but apparently, they're super hard to tame - because they tend to bite like a crazy SOB....

Otherwise, maybe a Crested Gecko - which are supposedly quite friendly...

Have you considered one of these:

I'd have to say that's probably my favourite lizard.

I'd kill for a komodo... they're so friggin awesome - even if they grow to be longer than my car.

I was at PetSmart - and I saw a Savannah Monitor - apparently they grow to 48", which is insane. Who has that space in their house...??

Yeah, Komodo's are dope. They'd actually make great pets, but are illegal to have as pets due to them being an endangered species.
