Lost Wallet

hey guys
i know my chances are pretty low of getting it back, but its worth a try.

today at around 12:30pm. my friends car got hit by an object that fell off a truck, so we pulled to the side of Lougheed Hwy, a bit before the Kensington exit, Westbound.

it must've fell out while i was getting back into the car.

it looks like:

theres my driver's license, a cancelled td credit card & hsbc mastercard, a carecard, an hsbc debit card, and a gym pass....and a pic of my gf & i :(

theres about $140 in the wallet. whoever picked it up, i dont mind if they keep the cash, but i really wish to have my wallet back. it was a one year anniversary gift to me!

Is that your gf in your avatar?

I know its pretty obvious but did u check under the seat of the car?? or in between the seat and the center console?

Good Luck finding it

iam_dan 03-22-2011 08:07 PM

yes, i did.

my friend is at work right now, so he will triple check for me when he gets off work. i hope i was just too stupid/blind and missed it.

if youre lucky someone might drop it in a canada post box and youll get it back in the mail. It happened to me, and the best part is the idiots only took the $20, missed prolly 150 worth of giftcards i have kickin around and the wallet itself was worth about 200

edit - my wallet was STOLEN, im pretty sure they took the money dumped it somewhere are some very considerate people then put in the mailbox.

What do you mean idiots? Considerate people still exist in this world of ours.

so u took the time to cancel ur cards, and post this up, yet u dont wanna drive to ur buddies work and look for urself? did you even go back place where u thought u dropped it to look for it?

k3mps 03-22-2011 08:17 PM

did anyone stop to ask if you were ok? i would go back to the spot in the day and look around.
wish you the best of luck

i checked his car 3-4 times before he had to leave for work. i checked his house twice (a second time after he already left, cuz his mom was nice enough to invite me in)... i decided id go pull over off on the side of the highway and walk around for about 2 hours until it got dark, trying to see if i could find it kicked off somewhere. after i got home, i cancelled my cards incase of worst case situations. i havent gone to my friends workplace to check, because it takes about 45 minutes to drive there, and he gets off in about 1 hour. so its not that i dont want to go drive over..

I lost mine last year also. Few months later Someone called me saying they have it and I can pick it up anytime. My gf bought me an LV wallet that is too big so I never got back to the guy lol.

Well technically, you can't drive without a drivers license

I remember the last time I lost my wallet. The guy who found it took the time to find me on FB and call me. There was 100$ in it and he didnt touch a thing, I told him to keep the 100$ as I relized I was a fool for keeping that much money in my wallet in the first place. Good karma baby :D

Found some girl's wallet on the mountain a few years back. She had her d/l and starbucks card in there, ended up facebooking her. She was pretty happy about it since she didn't have to renew her license.

AzNightmare 03-23-2011 01:19 AM

damn man... shouldn't ever carry so much cash unless you're planing on using it, like on your way to meet some
guy through Craigslist to purchase something, etc.

Good luck, hope you find your wallet, or a good Samaritan returns it.

Personally, I don't think I would take money from the wallet.
I wouldn't want someone doing that to me if I lost my wallet, and I will plan to return it, so if I did, might as well
go the whole way being a good Samaritan and not stealing the cash first and then returning it.
