WANTED: Inside Sales Position
 

Large firm in Burnaby (near Metrotown mall) is looking for 2 people
for an inside sales position.

It used to be pay per hour + comission however it's currently been
changed to comission only because there was a vote within the
staff to up the comp and ditch the base salary since most of the people
make double since this has been done.

Job consists of booking appointments with businesses for tax planning.
No experience required however preference will be given to those with
sales experience. Must have a great phone manner and can be done part time.

Some people work 2 hours, others work a full 8 horus a day.

This job has the potential to turn into a long term position with a lot of
pay. Typically, on an 8 hour shift, you can make about $1000 bucks
however this can be much higher if you're lucky.

I say lucky because there are a few people making more but it's not the norm
and I'd hate to say you'll make all this money when it's not likely. Still, popping into the office for a whole day and making a grand is nothing to take
lightly.

This is also why they want sales driven people since the better you are at the job, the more money you make.

The position could turn into an executive assistant roll or management for those who are educated and willing.

For those that don't care, it's a great job for students since the times to work are very flexible and can be negotiated at the time of hire for the candidate to be.

There are 2 positions currently however it will be based on how much each applicant is willing to work (ie if one person wants to work 6 hours a day 5 days a week then it will likely only be one position).

so the full time employees who work 40 hours a week make $5000 a week, and $20,000 a month?

I don't see the need to fail someone just because I posted a job on behalf of an employer.

When the hours are there, the possibility of getting paid well is there. Most of the time,
the jobs are not posted but a good buddy of mine asked if I knew anyone since I've worked with his firm in the past.

You will not likely get 40 hours a week. Perhaps my post was not clear on that. Typically, the hours are 10 - 20 hours a week and for new people sometimes you only get a day a week for 4 hours. The better you are, the more hours you are allowed to work.

They give some pretty crazy sales training but the job itself is not that hard. It's not uncommon for some of the people in the office to gross over $10,000 a month. $20,000 a month is probabaly doable but not normal.

I'm just posting a position for someone so there is no need to get worked up over it.
