US/Canada Shipping options

Can anyone that regularly ship product to the USA from Vancouver school me on shipping options? Say if I want to ship T-shirts to the USA on a regular basis, what's the cheapest bulk option with tracking? $15 for canada post is pretty pricey if you're doing bulk. Thanks!

how regular? you'll need to sign up your vehicle as a commercial vehicle and register that particular plate/vehicle ie you can't one day use one car and next week use a different car. you must always use that registered car.

and shipping shirts within USA are super cheap, maybe $3-5 max each and they come with tracking number from USPS. print it online and just drop it off at the back of the post office. don't 'under weight' your items or they won't accept them (I know from experience).

any other questions you can PM me.

I think hes suggesting the OP to drive to the US and ship it from there cause it'll be way cheaper

if i drive commercial items into the USA to ship, how would that work with US customs? Do I pay tax on the items when I enter the USA?

Canadapost has the small parcel option to ship items to the USA from Canada which is $5.xx but it does not have a tracking number. (This is kinda stupid for canadians because it'll cost me more to ship an item form richmond to vancouver than from richmond to miami...)

Have you thought about the option of storing your t-shirts in a shippers' warehouse in the states and have them process the shipping for you?

My friend makes PP cover materials and he just rents some warehouse space in LA and have them process all the US orders. And he now only ships once every 3 month to the US to fill up the stock.

i did, but the cost will be too high.

If you're looking for the option of order fulfillment, contact us at www.pakmaillangley.com, or send us an e-mail at langley@pakmailcanada.com

We can give you a few options, whether it's a single shirt, a box load, a pallet load or a container load.

either you pay 10$ every time you cross and you NEEED a manifest / form filled out.

or you pay for the license(3xx$) and you can take AS many items as you want with manifests and the form filled out.

and shipping there is SO CHEAP flat rate boxes are extremely cheap. 3-5$ for a t-shirt sized box with tracking and insurance.

just make sure you don't have anything in boxes as they will open them. easier just to box up @ the post office.

http://forms.cbp.gov/pdf/CBP_Form_7533.pdf

that is the FORM you need to complete before you get to the border. as well as a invoice/receipt

Ive found that Canada Post is usually cheaper than most of the other options. But for some reason its more expensive to ship a box to toronto than it is to miami

they have a small parcel shipping method thats only $5 to the states from here. but it doenst have tracking. Their cheapest method with tracking is $15 I was told. Unless there's some secret method?

if each parcel is below $200 (you must bring receipt) then no taxes.

jus pay the flat usage fee for the year ($225 ish?) for a single vehicle and sign up for stamps.com and you're good to go. also need to sign up for a usa po box for your return address

also feel free to sign up for many usa bank accounts ie sterling savings and banner bank. you can also get an american credit card from banner and get rewards (no dividend card from them though)
