you can usually program the key your self. search on some camry car forums you'll find a DIY call a lock smith they can usually cut your key, one was able to cut my lexus key for 20$ |
yea just look up if you can program the key yourself... and there is a locksmith on hartley in coquitlam just off united blvd, i think they're called precision locksmith. i got my lexus key cut there for 28 bucks or somthing, good people |
Usually when you buy those key/keyfobs off ebay, the seller would agree to give you the instructions to programming it too. So if he didn't include it with the deal...just do a search online. Might take some work...but the info's out there. |

Wouldn't you need to program the immobilizer as well? Or can one just do that using the internets Posted via RS Mobile |
yea I need the immobilizer programmed don't I? thanks will contact precision lock |
If there is a immobilizer you have to go to the dealer. Posted via RS Mobile |
All current model cars should have an immobilizer. I think they were required as of 2002 or something like that. |
2008, as I've seen 2007 Yaris without immobilizer. |
