The 850R and 850 T5R were frigging fast back then. The 1994 850 Turbo was already 222HP, and a simple boost controller brought it to 250HP, which was hella fast back then.
Actually, the 850R was the world's fastest production sedan at the time until the AMG C36 came along...

Can you cite this? I can think of several sedans from that time period that might be a bit faster.
