Cleaning a Cobra Pit
 

maybe some of you have seen cobra pits being cleaned, but i haven't and i was just like :eek: when i was watching this..

i'm sure he's been bitten hundreds of the time to the point where he's probably immune lol

Think about this guy the next time you go in to ask for a raise at your job. You know what this guy's raise was? The broom hes holding.

Those cobras are de-fanged and venom sacs "disabled" with electric shocks. These guys are not stupid. They do the same thing to snakes used in movies and circuses.

I have no idea why I know this.

Edit: I remember now. I saw this exact same thing when I went to Tailand cobra park. They have a snake square off with a mongoose, and the mongoose always wins. The fangs are removed and the snakes actually slowly starve to death since they are not fed and unable to hunt. However, they are able to live upwards of a year or so without any solid foods. If you look at all the eggs on the ground, replenishing the expired ones are not a problem.

Pretty terrible now that you know the story behind it.

when i was overseas i was trying to find one in a hennessy XO bottle but no luck :(

i remember finding them years ago but couldnt find any when i last looked.

Man I want one of those bottles. When my sister went to Thailand last I was trying to get her to bring me back one and she didn't.

Cobras filled with alcohol? Or bottles of alcohol with a snake inside?

friend of mine has a bottle with a snake and scorpion in it, the snake has the tail of the scorpion in it. its pretty sick

I've got the same thing on display in my playroom. LOL my little niece tries to scare her mom with it every time she comes over. I still find it nerve-racking even though the snake is dead and in a bottle. lol

snake i'm ok with cause its common to drink snake soup in hk. but scorpion is kinda gross lol

I would've sprayed some brake cleaner fluid in there and called it a day. :D
