I know the creator of the website and he is infact white ... when I read some of his stuff before, all I could really picture are hipsters cause none of my friends who happen to be white resemble any of what he says ...

Funniest one I thought was the Yellow Fever only because when I read it and went to lunch that day I mentioned it to the people I was at lunch with and they all happen to be white and they all said that was all BS but every single one of them had asian gfs ...

This website is like 4 years old now or something so I'm guessing like internet trends that the stuff they talk about gets stale quickly ... he does have a newer book out called I think "Whiter shades of pale" which I haven't read yet but is probably better than his first book which pretty much was a copy of the blog site ...

The concept of the website is pretty funny, and I'm sure their first few posts were funny. But after 2 or 3 "things" it pretty much becomes "stuff people like".

I was actually thinking of doing a Honger version, based on observations I've made over the years. There is the thing I call "The Hong Kong Shuffle". People in HK will do whatever it takes to not touch a door when going in or out of a building. There are very few automatic doors though, so you end up seeing the Hong Kong Shuffle. If there is even two inches of open door, you'll see people slide through sideways, not touching it. Or if a door is closing on its own, people will rush towards it, and shuffle through the open space like Indiana Jones...

It's pretty funny, watch for it next time you're in hong kong :D
