My girlfriend was leaving for Mexico for a week and I got her a going away present/thing to remind her of me. I found this book called the "I love you book" and it's a kids book. It has like "I love it when you..." and it had a picture of the activity. I found all of the pictures that we've taken related to the phrase or found other things to paste of the already drawn pictures, and then letters to go with some of them. This was like 3 months into our relationship. She still loves it and I'm still having a tough time trying to think of something that goes a bit above it. Definitely going to try the Kinder Surprise one. |
i took him for a day out in downtown. booked a room for the sutton place went to lunch at Market relaxed in our room went for dinner at Yew hit up Caprice went back to our room ;) and wow. some of you guys are so so sweet =D |

I did the EXACT same thing. The front cover had a picture of us holding hands and a title that said "Our Story" the back of the scrapbook was a picture of us but taken from the back still holding hands. Good job! :) When I was young, the guy I was going out with worked at McDonalds and came over to my house after his graveyard shift, woke me up presented me with a heart shaped burger, custom made fresh salad and an OJ for breakfast. For valentines day this year I got her a framed picture of myself, and I wanted a framed picture of the 2 of us, but there weren't any sober, portrait quality of the 2 of us so I drew it in crayon. She loved it so much, and it only cost me $5. |
made a dozen origami roses and sprayed them with her favorite perfume. I'll never waste my time on something like this again. Although she loved it at the time, she'll never remember the effort you put into it when she gets mad. |
I folded a star for everyday that we were together, and put it inside a jar. Inside that same jar I also folded 3 roses for each year that we were together. |

On our anniversary day, I dressed up a little sexy for him, (first time in lingerie, was a bit nervous) lit up his room with a lot of scented candles, blind folded him and guided him into the bedroom. Got a little romantic with each other for a couple minutes. I then handed him a letter describing what a wonderful person he is and how much of a great influence he is on me.. At the end of the letter I wrote "....with all the being said, will you officially be my boyfriend?" and he said yes!! I did a small jar with 98pills with quotes/comments/cheesy writing, told her to open one everytime she would miss me or was mad.. (gave it to her when she was sick) Making a colage of pictures of me & her, with picture of me holding my arm/hand out in a shape so that in the over all picture will be a giant heart shape (pics will be all the restaurants we've been to together) My gf is really down for the cheesy/drama stuff XD |
I used to buy her 3 gerberas every week from Vins...they usually last 7+ days...so she has something to remind her of me when she wakes up; sleeps etc.... one day we got into a fight and the bitch said the flowers meant nothing to her cuz they die in a week anyways..... |
