Silent UFO Without Lights:
Elsewhere, two farmers, Augusta and Eurico Rodrigues are awakened from sleep by the sounds of their farm animals. Looking out their window to see what was causing the commotion, they notice animals running wildly, obviously upset by something. Looking up, they see the reason-a large, silent UFO without lights. They reported their sighting to local authorities.
Alien Creature Seen:
Early morning on the 20th, one of the Brazilian fire departments received a very strange call. The caller stated that a "strange creature" had been seen in the area of Jardim Andere. Fire department personnel assumed that the call was a prank, and they were reluctant to respond, that is, until a second caller reported the same thing.
Military Captures Creature:
In Brazil, the fire department is part of the military, and was required to answer any and all calls. They began to receive even more calls reporting the strange entity, and proceeded to the area of the sightings. To their utter amazement, they found the odd being, seemingly dazed, or possibly hurt. They easily took it into custody, holding it in a net.
Glowing Red Eyes:
The creature was indeed strange-it had three knobs sticking up on his head, which glowed with eyes of red. It had disproportionately long arms, short legs, and large feet. The strange being made a type of buzzing sound from its net it was put in. The firemen had never seen anything even remotely resembling this odd creature. Soon, they would discover that the being was not alone.
Another Creature Spotted:
Later on the same day, three girls-Lilliane Fatima, Valquira Fatima, and Andrade Xavier were walking home together after work. As was their custom, they were going through a shortcut in the woods. They were frightened as they saw another strange entity, described just like the one in custody. They began to run away, and arrived home safely. One of the girls' mothers went back to the spot of the encounter, and was surprised by the smell of ammonia in the air.
Beings Autopsied:
All together, there would be at least seven creatures captured by authorities that very day. Several of them died, and were autopsied. Naturally, during the autopsies, numerous photographs and video were taken of the entities, but none were ever released to the public. There are, however, a number of renditions done by artists based on eyewitness descriptions. One of the men involved in the capture of an entity, 23-year-old Marco Eli Cherese, died, allegedly from contact with the aliens.
Military Denies Knowledge:
The Brazilian press was on the search for any details that could be learned about this strange occurrence, but any and all questions asked the military and fire department personnel were met with denials. There were reports of a lot of military activity during this time, along with reports of UFOs over the area. It is assumed that the strange creatures were occupants of the crashed UFO, although there is no definitive evidence to prove this theory.
Conclusions:
Being in Brazil, there were also assertions that the creatures were actually the legendary chupacabras, but that is another story. Most of the information regarding the strange Brazilian entity can be attributed to Ufologist Vitorio Pacaccini, who claimed to have first hand reports from military contacts. Although this case is widely carried on UFO web sites across the Net, there is no proof of the creatures, and no connection to UFO reports.
