Actually, minimum working age IIRC is 13.
With this you need a legal consent form signed by your parent/guardian allowing you to work at this age.
If not I had a paper route at the age of 9/10)

Myself:

Paper route (9/10-13)
Timmies (16)
Purolator (17)
Lexus (18)
RemCo (19-20)
CAD Designer (Current)

Thanks man, means a lot. The whole degree/diploma debate can go on forever, but it really depends on the area of work now..

In my personal opinion (I'll probably get flamed for this), experience>title.
But again, that depends on your area of work. For most trades, that is the case. But the trend is even creeping towards business/finance nowadays.
Some companies make it a "requirement" to have a degree, but that doesn't mean you can't apply. You just gotta dig deeper in your cover letter and/or speak to the manager in person.

:) I'm not that outgoing, actually.. But, if I do say so myself, am very good at negotiating with people for compromises and solutions.

Originally this position was way out my capabilities, but we worked out a deal where we outsource A, B, and C off of my job description, and I take a salary cut of X amount. ..Which I think I still got the better deal :troll:

Friends and family tell me I should be a business person.. but.. I don't know. I hate people. :fullofwin:
