is the minimum age requirement @ Costco 18? Does anybody know?
Costco is still hiring for its seasonal positions. Once New Year's comes, they'll decide whether to keep you or to let you go. They train pretty well though, but they also expect a lot.

I'm still a teenager and attending school

Working at PriceSmart Foods right now. Since it's unionized, it's a pretty decent job for my age.

You actually get shit for the amount of work they give you.
Safeway starts at $9.75 and is under a union too. You're basically making $9/hr for dog work.. It's probably the same for pricemart as well.

Unionized jobs get more than minimum wage and have benefits as well as seniority rights. For my store for every 500 hours you get a 40 cent raise. I know it's not much but it's better than nothing. As well, in unionized work places you won't be getting fired for random shit. But at most grocery stores it's pretty slack work if you compare it to some other low paying jobs.
