FS: 1997 Eagle Talon ESI
 

Hello everyone, I am new to the forums. A friend recommended I sign up and post my car up for sale here. I am moving and can't take the car with me! I love this car and don't want to part with it, unfortunately I am going to be flying to Newfoundland for a job and it will cost over $3000 to get the car shipped there! I want this car to go to someone who will take care of it as well as I have. I will also throw in my Alpine amplifier and subwoofer with this car as I can't take these with me either.

It is pretty rare to see this year and trim of a Talon on the road - especially one as done up as this and in such good condition. I have only seen one other car in this same color and trim in Burnaby once! And I have lived here for over 10 years!

Below is a list of the several mods that this car has:
- Magnaflow exhaust with dual 4" tips
- Custom carbon fiber gear shift knob
- Performance spark plugs (Iridium platinum)
- Performance spark plug wires (Ractive)
- Performance pedals (Ractive)
- Aftermarket air filter intake system (Ractive)
- 6000K HID headlights (These really light up the road!)
- Engine Start button to start the car
- Kenwood Deck with USB stick/IPOD/MP3 player support, and SUB WOOFER PRE-OUTS!
- The entire car is pre-wired for amp and subs. I might include the amp and sub in the price. I am moving after all. So get in touch with me.
- The car is sound proofed using dynamat sound deadening kits to provide deep and clear bass.

Other details:
- 16" rims (These are the stock rims powder coated to a nice white color to match the body. They are in really good condition)
- The tires are all season (Uniroyal Tigerpaw) and have really good tread on them and should be easily good for another two years.
- The brakes were done recently.
- Air conditioned
- Aircared till October 2011
- Power locks, power windows, keyless entry, the whole works
- Comes with a Viper 350 plus alarm system installed by BPG Tuning in Richmond. Awesome guys by the way. Really treated my car with care and highly recommended!
- Glossy white in color with a black top
- 242,000 kms on the engine and still going strong. Not a single oil leak anywhere! These engines are designed to last you over 350,000kms so don't let the kms get you down.
- Less than 3,000 kms on the newly rebuilt transmission

Done not too long ago:
- The lower control arm and inner tire rod were just replaced a few days ago
- The transmission was completely rebuilt at Ashoks Auto and Transmission specialists in Surrey.
- The water pump and timing belt were replaced recently

Extras been sold with the car:
- OEM spark plug wire set
- Brand new K&N performance Oil filter for the next oil change
- Alpine Amplifier
- Alpine Subwoofer

I really wish I could take this car with me. Unfortunately I can't so I have to let it go... :-(


As I said before I am moving so I have dropped the price quite a bit and I am including a bunch of extras with the car. For the price you won't find such a good condition talon anywhere!
It looks great and the exhaust makes a very nice sound! It is a very sporty car for younger drivers to show off to their friends! The paint is in amazing condition for the year!
I am only asking $3500 for this car.
I have dropped the price to as low as possible. Like I said, this is the best condition modded talon you will see for this price! It's worth much more than what I am asking.

bump! You can't really find a modded talon like this for this price and condition these days guys. At the very least, it's worth taking a look at.

Bump! Forgot to mention that a full tankof gas is also included in the sale. Gas prices arent anything to laugh about these days. A full tank of gas should be a good incentive.
