Menudo - Mexican version

Just wondering if anyones tried it? Saw it on tv and looked really interesting, they call it the hangover cure, tripe/stomach in a spicy broth soup with lots of spices and herbs. Tried finding it online in vancouver but didn't turn up with any results, curious if anyone knows where to try it or has any opinions about it! I know theres a Filipino version too but it doesn't sound spicy.

The only place I can think of is Dona Cata on Victoria but I highly recommend you call ahead and ask. Good luck!

hey bcrdukes thanks for that suggestion, I'll give them a ring! A coworker of mine did tell me there was a restaurant on Vic/Commercial that served it on a sunday but he forgot the name, Dona Cata might be the place then!

They definitely have it at a place called Salsa and Agave in Yaletown (1223 Pacific Boulevard), but I've never tried it there.

I had a burrito which was awful so am not sure if you're first foray into menudo should be there....but if you're really curious you might as well.
