craigslist job posting too good to be true? http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/va...341317580.html no company name, high salary for entry level with no sales experience, and specified that you need your own car. door to door sales? http://i.imgur.com/rFjIM.jpg |

^^^^ guess it ain't real lol |
if its too good to be true, it probably is. also, since its a sales job, they will hire almost anybody. you have to foot your own car expenses, and only get paid if you make a sell. win win situation for companies like these |
It's probably a way to gain resumes. |
It is most likely a multi level marketing scheme, either amway, ACN, or vector |
if the company is "big" yet can't even state their name, or does not provide a legit email address that isn't @shaw.ca or @hotmail.com, IMO it's a sham and not worth it. |
very very common bullshit posting. they always have the following: -"international company expanding" -> their hq is in the u.s -"looking for lots of people" -> this is a give away that its door to door -"training provided" -> they will do weeks of extensive ttaining, not rrally to teach u anything, but rather to brainwash and persuade u into loving them -could make huge salary -> key word is could. there will be one guy who supposidly makes shitloads but thr rest barely break minimum wage. on top of that, out of thr shit u sell what % do u get to keep? amd what % of that do u have to give back to the government at the end of the year as comission income? ;-) Posted via RS Mobile |

I worked as a door to door for 2 days way back and it's really shitty work. We only had 3 different products to sell at one time and you have to meet at their warehouse "office" at 6:30 in the morning for their mozone. On top of that, I can't remember what it was but I sold about 140 dollars worth of stuff along side their senior sales and I only got about 35 dollars and I still had to cover the gas and food. So it's like 20 dollars for 12 hrs of work Posted via RS Mobile |
selanne, why would you still work for these assholes? dont you get hourly wage on top of commission? |
I don't and that was the reason why I only worked for them for 2 days. No there's no hourly wage, ur strictly on commission or rather they call it "self-employed" so ur not even their employees. They only act as a consigner of their goods to u. It was my first "job" and I didn't kno better. Otherwise I would've walked out after the first 10 minutes Posted via RS Mobile |
