So basically was sitting in the drive way the other day and the timing belt tensioner bolt broke. Any one that knows subaru knows that this is one of the most common issues and knows the consequence. On the 14th I went out and bought a new tensioner (Around200 jesus) and sent it over to the shop. For those who dont know, when the belt skips on these motors its a given for the pistons to hit the valves. Now I dont know if there is or how many valves are bent yet. Should know soon. Getting in over my head with this car with current money situation and would sell as is for the right price. There is huge dollars invested into the car. Entire new bottom end etc. Just a peak at my bills, build notes and everything http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k1...2/untitled.jpg |

Looking for 9ish as is. Later today or tomorrow afternoon I will know the exact amount it should cost to fix as well so it may stay or go depending on how life feels like treating me. |
