Guess you must be old and dumb if you havn't figured out tv nowadays is mostly meant for women and the only part for men are mostly sports.
They are desperately figuring out how to attract male viewers back to tv. I mean just count the commercials and see how many are aimed at women vs men.

Am I the only one here who loves the idea of a monarch?
I don't really care about the wedding, but if it were on at a decent hour I would probably watch a little bit of it for sure.

I love the fact there will be a new King! I love movies like the King's Speech and all the movies alike.
Even though Canada is independent and everything now I still feel the slight connection to the royal family. It's just a really cool thing imo.

fuck the royal wedding..the canucks won!!!! GO CANUCKS GO!!!!

MindBomber 04-26-2011 11:10 PM

I'm definitely a royalist, the royals connect us to our history and retain a bit of culture in our otherwise sterile political system.

I DIDNT GET INVITED.

cococly 04-27-2011 01:13 AM

Is he invited to the wedding? Or is he too occupied to go? :troll:

I don't give a shit about this wedding.

TOS'd 04-27-2011 01:16 AM

I care.

SkinnyPupp 04-27-2011 02:38 AM

I am interested in royal history and British history, along with world history in general.. I am kind of a geek that way.

But it's just that - history - and it should remain that way for us. If you're in UK, go ahead and cheer them on. Otherwise... don't care

BeeBeeAhn 04-27-2011 02:46 AM

My gfs are all pretty excited about the wedding. I can't bring myself to give two shits about it though. They all think i'm crazy.

Meh.

All this is going to do is make girls realize they'll never have that kind of wedding, and BAM. I have to deal with more bridezillas at work. Yay?

ae101 04-27-2011 02:48 AM

i care about the fact that william is gonna be the next king of UK other then that i skip over this when i watch the news as i care for the more important part of the news
(yes i think hes gonna be the new king as the it looks like charles is getting older & yet still not king)

InvisibleSoul 04-27-2011 07:59 AM

I think the wedding is going to happen Friday night/Saturday morning at 3am.

Girl 04-27-2011 08:31 AM

What?! So nobody actually cares about what Kate's wedding dress is going to look like?!

:O Blasphemy!

We don't care cuz it's not happening in our backyard and we're not the ones getting the bank holiday.

RacePace 04-27-2011 08:36 AM

Just happy for William, still remember when his mom died and he was as old as I was, just a kid

!Yaminashi 04-27-2011 08:37 AM

Cant say I care that much, however I do want to know what William plans to do about his receding hairline:D

AzNightmare 04-27-2011 08:46 AM

wtf is Royal Wedding?

Seems like I'm out of the loop here.

Lately the Canucks thread been using up all my energy,
I don't even have time to check other threads on RS, my number one source of news.

edit: Oh, is one of the UK Prince getting married??

See, this is why I like RevScene, and avoid the newspaper.
I get my news, but RS filters out crap I don't care about.
Seriously, the newspaper is full of so many boring articles that I would not care to read.
If it's interesting enough for me to care, high chances someone already posted it on RS.

Ch28 04-27-2011 10:36 AM

The only people that will watch the royal wedding are women.

Girls grow up wishing that they're the ones that have a fairytale wedding and this is as close as they'll ever get to seeing one.

U want coles notes?

Meowjin 04-27-2011 06:47 PM

how much is canada paying for these fucks to get married.

scottsman 04-27-2011 06:56 PM

so much going on in the world right now and people actually give a shit about this. If the royal family are such humanitarians how about cutting the wedding in half and donating the rest of the money.

The amount of CNN coverage for this wedding is ridiculous.

I can not believe people are taking vacations just to go see this shit.

Yuffa 04-27-2011 07:36 PM

Just another big money bucket IMO.....

Now here is a solution for all the guys who ARE into the whole Happily-Ever-After Fantasy -

Royal wedding beer, laced with Viagra -

91LS-VTak 04-27-2011 09:04 PM

Absolutely no interest...it always pisses me off when any of the "Royals" come here and we have to pay for their security...stay on ur side of the pond!
