the new jets costs us less then the CBC does. I'd rather have the jets.

if the prisons are full (I have no idea if they are or not) then new ones are needed. either that or the death penalty, or work camps. which of the 3 do you want? personally I would take both of the last 2. But likely never happen in Canada because most people are pussy's. therefor the 1st is the most appeasable to the public.

how much does oil cost us? oil was the only thing keeping the country running the past 2 years. without it the country would be in the crapper right now. the oil industry has saved the country not cost it.

We don't need no jets...it's not like the Canadian airforce will even be put to use anyways, even it does, the foe is probably Russia and in this case canada stands no chance and US will step in anyways, complete waste of money.

Why on earth is it against the law to make prison camps into hard labour camps? If they take away from society to get in there they should give back to society and not have society pay while they sit around sucking down dollars.

You people do know that when they throw out that $29 billion number, that is how much we will pay over a 30-year period...not a one-time cost just for purchasing the planes

johny 05-01-2011 06:30 PM

yes that is the purchase price plus 30 years of maintenance and running costs. was averaged to around 900 million a year.

the CBC costs tax payers 1.1 billion a year...

the USA is screwed and broke. russia will come soon. they run jets a couple times a year into Canadian space to test response times.

GabAlmighty 05-01-2011 09:10 PM

Bitch please, I wanna fly in a brand spanking new jet... Slut.

MindBomber 05-01-2011 10:54 PM

The CBC and jets play entirely different roles in society, you can't play them against each other. Promoting art, culture and education through the CBC betters our society and jets defend it. There needs to be a balance in funding in a modern progressive society. I have a feeling there's something missing in those travel expenses, they just don't make sense, I'm sure some of Harper's expenses are billed under different programs since he's pm.
