To all Mercedes owners!

I have 05 C230, bought it used, and just recently i got this msg saying "service B"
I called mercedes services, and they quoted me, "~600$" for service B. Is it usually this much?

Just wondering, where do you guys take to get services done?
Any good shops around Vancouver that you might recommend?

what does service B entail

oil change, tire rotation, check brakes, suspension, replace cabin air filter, check battery, replace air filter, check fluids, reset schedule b light

I'll do it for you for half the price....and I'll show/teach you what to look for aswell.

Amazing service and honestly both Alex & Curtis are super familiar with Mercedes. The shop holds the current record of the fastest CLS55 AMG in the 1/4 mile. Hopefully some time in the future my car will be up there as well!

No I do not own a shop....I just own a toolbox and a few very expensive lessons from MB richmond.....

If you wish to use a shop, as mentioned above, TheSpeedSyndicate is the shop that I visit often aswell for jobs that I cannot complete on my own. Alex and Curtis are very well knowledgable with MBs.

I was quoted $250 + air filters' costs at an nweuropean.com‎ about a block away from the Mercedes dealership in Bellingham. Filters are pretty cheap online.

The shop retains the present record of the fastest CLS55 AMG in the 1/4 mile. Hopefully some time in the future my vehicle will be up there as well!

Hey guys I pulled information off BenzWorld, about what Service "A" and Service "B" actually does, can anybody possibly confirm?

A SERVICE :

- Inspect and record tread depth, and correct tire pressure
- Rotate tires (excludes AMG, Sports Models, SLK, and vehicles with staggered wheels)
- Engine oil change and oil filter replacement
-Includes Mobil 1 synthetic oil
- Lubrication service
- Includes hood hinges, lock cylinders, striker
plates, sun roof tracks and top off all fluids
- Cooling system inspection
- Includes antifreeze protection level, hoses and
clamps
- Brake inspection
- Includes check of pad thickness and condition of
discs, fluids and lines
- Inspect heating and ventilation dust filter, replace if needed. (Replacement additional. Dust filter prices vary by model)
- Function check
- Includes warning lamps, headlights, exterior
lights, seat belts, windshield wiper and washer
- Inspect and lubricate throttle linkage
- Check and clean air filter
- Reset flexible service system counter




B SERVICE :

- Inspect windshield wiper inserts and service windshield washer system (Replacement of wiper inserts additional*).
- Inspect and rotate tires, record tread depth, and correct tire pressure. (Wheel balance additional*).
-excludes AMG, Sports Models, SLK, and vehicles
with staggered wheels
- Engine oil change and oil filter replacement
-Includes Mobil 1 synthetic oil
- Lubrication service
- Includes hood hinges, lock cylinders, striker

Just heard from our techs that we purchased the reseting tools needed for the benz servicing!

You dont have to get the servicing done through us, but you will need to reset all the service lights.

I also have STAR DIAGNOSIS.....Codes read/delete...

I believe The Speed Syndicate also has Star Diagnostics as well! :D
