Google Chrome: Dear Sophie commercial |
Pretty neat idea. What happens when 10 years down the road, and gmail is no longer running though. Poof. |
"You wanted to name him Salt" :lol That's actually a pretty awesome commercial. |
Damn, so simple yet so awesome. |
Cute idea, but I would rather do it via blog posts than emails so it could be public, accessible and easily editable. John Chow does the same for his daughter: http://sallychow.com |
I look forward to the day when Sophie reads all the mail in Gmail, and responds to it. |

Did you see his latest video of his daughter releasing the bird out in his backyard? He seems to be baller! |

His WHOIS data says his old address I think. His older daughter attended my highschool and was a couple years younger than me. Small city Vancouver is. & Yes, he is baller. |

Damn, I'm 3 years too late... =( I'll admit, I choked up a bit. |
In general, this is pretty cool. As in people in the current generation can videotape their kids when they are young, and see how they interacted with things. 20 years from now, they can look back and see everything recorded. If I think back, I can vaguely remember random events from 4 years old. But beyond that, I don't remember anything from ages 0-3. It would have been nice though, just to see myself more during my toddler ages. For curiosity, I wouldn't have mind seeing my parents when they were younger too... unfortunately, for many of us, all we'll get is a black and white photograph at best. Our kids of the future will be able to see how we're like maybe... that's if we want to show them :) |
good vid. so simple yet effective. |
Made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside |
