Best poutine in town is Brado's Pizza on Commercial.

Just don't go to the coquitlam center one. Fries were horrible. Also, curry chicken and the beef sauce didn't taste good either. Will stick with gravy next time.

La Belle Patate is pretty dece on Davie, but I don't know how it compares to Brados as I've never been. It is run by Quebecers, and the inside is plastered with Habs gear.

Meowjin 05-19-2011 01:17 AM

costco is best.

ShadowBun 05-19-2011 01:35 AM

Yeah they have the best fries ever, and use these huge cubes of cheese smothered in gravy.

Its $4.19 iirc for a huge tray of poutine, and always hits the spot!

Yup, I loved the costco ones. I will give brado's pizza a try sometime, to see if it's really that good or just hyped up good.

i usually get 'the works' which is awesome but i got a 'poutine' at the ny fries in richmond silvercity and wanted to barf - cheese was cold and squeeky, fries were soggy and gravy tasted like dick. Prolly just that location...but i dunno if i'm brave enough to go for it again elsewhere

and i agree, costco poutine is awesome. Fritz is awesome as well, on davie and granville (i think that's the intersection)

BMW135i 05-19-2011 11:08 AM

Yum yum. Keep the fries coming :)

yarachi 05-21-2011 03:17 PM

The cheese curds are supposed to be cold and squeaky. The rest sounds disgusting though lol.

New York Fries took down the promotion off their website, but the coupon is still valid

Has anyone tried if they'll accept this at the locations?

Have had trouble in the past with printed coupons.

Ski Mountains (Cypress/Grouse) poutine, back in my snowboarding days, is where I get my best poutine ever meals from.

Not sure if it's just because those places actually make great poutine or just because it's such an awesome complement of a snack for a hard day of riding that might make it seem better than it actually is.

Seems okay so far.

Thanks, TypeRNammer! :)

Side Note: Went to Brado's last night on Commercial, the poutine was awesome! It was made to order, fresh, lotsa gravy and cheese curds with smoked meat. SMALL clam shell take out was $5.99 and filled full with fries, cheese and gravy dripping on the sides.

Bf had the Bacon Double cheeseburger $5.99 add fries and a pop for .99, huge portion as well, and lots of fries!! Winning!

tonyvu 05-26-2011 11:44 AM
