FS - Mint Eurospec '94 BMW M3 Regretfully, I find myself in a position to have to sell my gorgeous and rare 1994 Eurospec BMW M3 (Japanese import - left hand drive) Finished in stunning, vibrant Dakar yellow over Hurricane cloth and VERY RARE Alcantera seating (Vader seats) These seats were never offered in US spec cars and are very desirable in M3's. All M3's sold in the States were in leather. Odd as it sounds, these are more valuable and tend to wear much better. The fabric mimics suede and is commonly used on late model Porsches. This is a fully optioned car with all options offered, such as premium 8 speaker sound, heated and powered front seats, tilt steering, A/C (needs recharge but current refrigerant), power windows and locks, cruise, power sunroof, etc....Everything works as it should. The paint is in exceptional condition and the bodywork is dead straight with zero dents or scratches, and of couse no rust whatsoever. As well, the interior is in amazing, original condition showing very little wear. I would rate the exterior as a solid 9 and the interior the same, easy. Photos do not do the car justice. The car is of course a 5 speed and as she sits, has approx. 109000 km's. If you are not familiar with the Eurospec M3, this is a largely different car than what was offered here in North America and has many appointments nor offered here. Short list consists of - *286 hp 3.0L inline 6 cyl (as opposed to the N/A 240 hp) *6 individual throttle butterflies *40% LSD rear end (US versions are at 25%) *tilt steering *rear sunshade *rear headrests *Alcantera/cloth Vader seating (RARE powered and heated) *glass covered headlights (N/A is plastic) I'm sure there is a lot more than this...this is off the top of my head but there is a lot of online data to help differentiate the models. Suffice to say, the car is an absolute rocket and is said to have near the same power-to-weight ratio as M3's as recent as the E46s! I can honestly say in all the cars I've owned (over 30) - none can compare in overall driver satisfaction and utter enjoyment. Everything the magazines and journalists say about the M3 is valid. Best car I've owned - bar none. The car has had no accidents and has been fastidiously maintained, as you will see upon inspection. As she sits, the car is in need of nothing. All service is up to date and there are no surprises. Not to say the car is flawless, but I looked for about a year to find a car anywhere near this nice, and when I found it, it was instant - and no disappointments since. She has never left me down and I look for any reason to just drive! Recent work/maintenance includes - *new Bosch plugs *tranny fluid flush, brake fluid flush, coolant flush *just completed oil service *new fuel filter *new rear strut mounts *Vanos adjustment with new filter *individual throttle body synchronization and adjustment *new mass air meter *valve adjustment with new valve cover gaskets The car has had a few enhancements in the past year to improve the car just that much more. These are - *oem BMW Motorsport X-brace and upper strut mount *Rogue engineering short shift kit *BBS RC-014 17" 3 piece rims *Authentic LTW fiberglass rear deck spoiler *new Pioneer CD head unit with front and rear Infiniti speakers (car has premium sound option) *Bilstein P-SS9 coilovers with ride height and dampening adjustment *Momo 350mm race wheel and hub *Sebring full stainless catback exhaust *ITG eurospec intake I can assure you if you are seriously in the market for a very well maintained M3, this car will not dissappoint in any way. I am REALLY regretting having to sell her but I do hope she goes to a good home. Of course these make exceptional track cars too, but as a potent, tight and extremely well engineered daily driver, you will not find a more complete and satisfying car for this price. The price is $12500 - firm. The car has over $10000 invested in the last year alone and so long as she is kept up, this car should never de-value from hereon in. I live in south Van and can be reached to be viewed at (604)809-7604 Please - serious enquiries only. Cheers! LINK TO PICS HERE - http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/va...448423644.html |

I didn't import it myself, no. Previous owner did so I believe. I only have ppi report from inspection upon my purchase at CG Motorsports in Richmond. ~T~ |

bump for a very awesome car. In '94, Canadian spec M3 had the Euro-spec power but very ltd. numbers. I don't know about interior etc. but we did get the 286hp cars and the US didn't. In '95 we got the same car as the US models:mad: I actually drove a white one way back in '94 and it had leather vader seats. Wiki: [I]M3 Euro-Spec (Canadian Edition)In 1994 agreements existed between Canada and several countries in Europe which allowed any car authorized in one participating country to legally be sold in any of the others.[citation needed] Though BMW had unveiled the next generation E36 M3 in Europe in 1992, the company felt that the production version would need to be priced much higher for export to North America than the market would allow. While the engineers worked on a less expensive North American version of the E36 M3, BMW Canada seized the window of opportunity: 45 numbered European specification M3 coupes were specially produced and imported into Canada. Even with a base price of $59,900 (a substantial sum for the day given that the standard equipment list did not include forged lightweight wheels, air conditioning, a sunroof or even metallic paint), all 45 cars were spoken for in 3 days. Unlike the other special versions of the E36 M3, buyers were free to choose any colors and options they wanted on their cars. The cars all came equipped with the 286 PS (210 kW; 282 hp) 3.0 L inline 6 cylinder engine, vented brakes with floating rotors, glass headlights and other European standard equipment. They were initially delivered to Toronto, then shipped all across the country to the dealerships where they were ordered. |
Yeah the Cdn. spec cars are a rare find indeed. Other than the number plaques - as far as I know? - these are mechanically and cosmetically identical cars. This was brought into Canada last January from Japan and has never seen track tims...but with the current suspension set-up, she would undoubtably excel. The only car I've owned that I would consider an equally balanced and predictable sports coupe would be my Porsche 968 with M030 suspension and Konis. And this has a back seat...and obviously is a fair bit quicker =^) |
