Viper alarm help
 

Buddy of mine recently bought a used truck that came with a Viper 5000 alarm. Every now and then when he's driving, the door locks start going nuts, locking and unlocking. He says he can tell it's the alarm doing it because he can hear the relay in the brain clicking madly.

I guess the best fix would be if he could find another Viper 5000 brain to swap in... if anyone maybe has one laying around?

Pretty sure its got on board relays. Yikes!
Yeah, a swap out may do the trick. What kind of truck is it?

Expedition... not sure what year, early 00s, I think.

Can try calling DEI and maybe they can swap the brain since it's usually covered for original owner. Not sure if u need proof of purchase.
