When does it BSOD? Randomly? or only when gaming?

SaviorSelf_666 05-18-2011 01:03 PM

What game? How old is your computer? You hearing your computer fans kicking up loud?

Could be overheating?

mk1freak 05-18-2011 02:42 PM

looks like it might be bad ram:

run memtest on your memory (one stick per time) for at least 5-7 passes (run it overnight if you have to) if you get any failures replace the ram.

let us know how it pans out

just when i play games like Grid.. sometimes trackmania, but the game would just crash.

other games would run fine, but any game that i play that has racing in it.. would crash..

but when i play, brink, css, cod mw2 ... no BSOD..

confused!!!

I updated the bios, i did a spyware check, ran adware, ran a virus scan.

when doing that.. do i just take out the 3 gb i have in and just run it 1 gb at a time ?
is that what you mean?

yes, do you know specifically caused the BSOD? make sure to turn off the "auto restart on error" so you can read the bsod :)

Download and install CPU-Z and tell us the temps when it's idle and when it's playing the games that crash.
