WWE has put together a nice tribute. I guess they'll probably broadcast this on the PPV and Raw. Here are some disturbing stats on the fact that all our favourites growing up are dying so early. |
the last known promo of Randy Savage in character promoting his action figure after he signed a Legends deal with the WWE apparently he had a falling out with Mcmahon which is why he left the WWE for WCW.. so when he signed a Legends deal last summer, there was rumour that Randy Savage was either on his way back to the WWE or he would be a runner up to head HoF, until HBK took the lead this year but ya, all my childhood wrestlers are mostly dead or nearly dead, for those following Scott Hall in the last couple of years, he is most likely to die next there has been several news stories of his ex wife, kevin nash, hbk and the WWE trying to help him fight his demons and has flat out refused them and shut them off his life |
dam scott hall was my favourite char to use in the wwf snes game. just searched this up, he looks like hes in his 70's :crazy2: http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/...bar-patrol-car |
^^ And that was a year before he hit rock bottom |
man that's so sad seeing that. I was a huge scott hall fan. |
here is a great article to read regarding Scott Hall's ex wife thought he actually OD and died so she and EMTs tried to get to his apt only for him to kick them out and spat on her face http://www.postandcourier.com/news/2...x-done-4-life/ http://pwtorch.com/artman2/publish/O...le_49920.shtml i just found out that Test, Mike Awesome and even Lance Cade is dead too.......... wow... RIP |

had to google who Scott Hall was RAZOR RAMON!! man that guy was hilarious back then wow he looks fuccccked up in that video |
Very very classy tribute from WWE gotta be honest, it had me tear up a bit near the end when 1952-2011 black screen showed up at the end, i fucking loved wrestling in the very early 90s... Quote:
Mcmahon really burnt bridges with alot of wrestlers over the years, his grudge with Lex Luger will never be fix, as well as his on and off again real feug with Hogan, He fired Earl Herbner (long time wwe referee) for simply selling WWE t shirts at his shop etc.. Triple H is supposedly now running the talent relations, and only a matter of time until him and Stephanie takes over the WWE...they have been praise for their great relations with former talent, i think it would be great for the industry to change when they do |
I guess it's been long enough now to mention that the rumored cause of Vince's grudge against Savage was that Savage boned Stephanie... Vince almost always buries the hatchet when he thinks money can be made, but this is one case that was never going to be resolved. You have to assume that it was a pretty big personal deal, and that certainly fits the bill. |

That tribute was so tough to watch, especially the parts with Macho and Elizabeth, had me tearing up pretty good. To think that they're back together again up there... |

wasnt she married to Lex Luger |
Yeah Piper said Macho slapped Vince in a bar but the rumor is it had something to do with Steph. It might just be one of those things that no one will ever know. It's a bit odd tho, the degree of hate Vince has on him. I mean Bret gave him a black eye and he came back. Other people had bad mouthed the wwf and came back. He must have really did something to piss him off. Macho was great. In terms of his ring psychology him and Jake Roberts can put on a clinic. My favorite feud was with Ric Flair during his WWF run. I just watched a tribute interview from DDP at ddptv.com and Dallas Page puts it into perspective on how dedicated Macho was at his craft. The best part was DDP wrestling disguised as La Parka and hitting a diamond cutter out of nowhere. Poor liz died on drugs. Macho cleaned up from what I read and left the business behind him. He got married and this happens :( |

Mcmahon was obviously pissed at Luger for fucking him over back in '95/'96 when they had a handshake agreement for him to stay in the WWE without a contract, then he decides to use this as a leverage for Bischoff to offer him more money for a long term contract then just shows up on the premier of Nitro When Elizabeth died, WWE aired the entire 911 call of Luger on WWE Confidential and blatantly accused him as the main cause and reason why Elizabeth died..... which is true essentially.. despite the 2 having nothing to do with the WWE for loong time, even way before the WCW buy out.. btw, Luger suffered a stroke couple of years ago and was paralyzed for months, if u see him on interviews now he is just skin and bones.. The whole Randy Savage/Stephanie rumour has been running around for soooo many years, its almost impossible to debunk it, as far as what the alternative scenario is, Mcmahon probably accused Savage of fucking his daughter when she was 16 (which was the rumour she was underaged) and he flipped out and punched him in the face... |
Childhood idol indeed. I loved wrestling from the 80s til 90s. I still remember the "Mega Powers" tag team between him and Hulk Hogan. |
