Couple days ago I went to Headphone Bar and bought the Fiio E10. Now paired with my ATH-Pro700mk2. I'm now in bass heaven :fuckyea:

PS: headphone bar is definitely worth checking out, they got a lot of headphones on display for you to try and really friendly staff! :)

Was planning to add that set of cans to my collection, where did you get it from and were they available for testing with your own device?

I have Sennheiser HD428. For the price, it's unbeatable.

I got it in Japan when I was there and I don't think Headphone Bar had the Pro700mk2 on display for testing.

Here's a pretty reasonable priced pro700mk2 for about $165 on Amazon. free shipping within the US too! just send it to point roberts lol http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-PRO700MK2-Professional-Monitor-Headphones/dp/B004KCLIFA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1319138490&sr=8-1

Just bought a pair of Sennheiser HD558 paired with a Creative X-FI Titanium HD sound card (no headphone amp).

Do you guys think I need an amp?

just bring ur headphones to the headphone bar and try out the ones that fit ur budget. they have a whole wall of Fiio products and some nuforce ones too. that or ask and search on head-fi.

The strain relief in my Ultrasone DJ1 is fucked up. Losing sound from left or right channel depending on how I wiggle it :( . I think it broken when the cord got caught on the armrest in my van, and I just pulled it free. Time to get an Ultrasone CSR on the line I guess.... My backup portable set is the JVC FX-67 Air Cushion. Nowhere near as good :( .

I got the pocket amp from Electric Avenue and paired it with M50's. Sweet setup man.

Can you do me a quick favor and check to see how large the opening is for the 3.5mm connector. I know it has a threaded base to secure the stock cable but what I would like to know is if I can use a Vmoda/Aiaiai/Beats/etc remote+mic cable with it (Very important to me).

Basically if I can use something like this:

with the 700mk2. The diameter is about as large as a stock apple earphone so its pretty small but its hard to tell from pictures/videos/reviews if it would fit.

Thanks
