Just get a pair of black toes pay a customizer 100-150 to paint the red parts royal blue and stamp your own logo on the heel lol, still cheaper than paying resell. Can't believe the resell is going as high as banned 1s or even royals crazy.

Just goes to show that people are sheep. I walked into Complex on RD and got a pair of black toes no problem. THIS IS THE SAME FUCKING SHOE (save for some stupid logo on the heel).

That said...

I think they are a fantastic looking shoe and I tried my luck with NDC this morning (and failed miserably). But will I pay resell? Not a chance in hell.

Which again, is something I just don't understand. For me, it's always been black/red > black/royal, but that just comes down to personal opinion. I haven't even kept up with sneakers or anything like that, save for this release, so I was shocked to hear that Royals were fetching upwards of $600 or whatever.

Either way, Shadows are the best 1's IMO. Cleanest, easiest to wear, and none of the bullshit hype associated with the other releases.

Shadows are going for $500+ which is funny cause everyone skipped them in favour for the Toro 4s released the same day.

Yea shadow 1s went up like crazy, thank god I bought them off CL for like $225 6 months or so after the release date. I think they're going up because people don't want to pay 600+ for royals and breds, shadows are the next best alternative. The leather on them is buttery as hell too

Anyone need a pair of DS Legend blue 11s in size 9.5? I'm willing to trade them for a pair of DS black/white 1s or AJKO sport blue 1s + cash size 9 or 9.5.

I wished they made the columbias with the netting instead of the perforated holes. The chromes, oreos and columbias are the only pairs without the netting. I wonder how the sizing will be for the "remastered" series. The 11s this year were TTS not 0.5 small like in past years.

I found going half size up on the lb11s was better for me. I also went half size up on the Patones but didn't try them on yet.

Everything in life has resell, only reason why the price of something like this do not go up its because there is no demand for it.

It's a simple thing called supply and demand. If there is limited supply then more demand is wanted thus driving up the price of a pair of shoes.

Reselling is a part of the sneaker game, if everyone has a pair of royals or breds then it's not as special and no one will want it....

Seriously if you think everything in life should be sold for what retail is set, you really need to live in a land with rainbow and unicorns.

The price is set by the market, and if it's too high no one will buy it and price will come down, and it will correct accordingly.

If you have a problem with this then maybe you should stop filling the salt shaker because I'm guaranteed yours is full already.
