Just picked up an order from NDC. I use an American credit card but I'm pretty sure they accept Canadian credit cards too. I pick it up at TSB Shipping in Point Roberts.

Holy crap!!! Just got raped!!!

Placed on order with JD Sports UK, just under $200 cad. Shipped out really quick, then got an email from Aramex Canada. Says my package is being held by customs and there's an $83 balance due.

WTF?!?! $83 duty and taxes on a $200 order? Must be some sort of handling fee from Aramex. They are hard to get a hold of too, I've sent a couple emails and voicemails. Still waiting for a break down of the charges and a link to the online payment option.

Anyone else order from the UK and go through the same deal?

I ordered from size before and never got taxed. My parcel is stuck in customs too also ordered from JD sports UK.

Not that crazy. You're looking at duties/taxes of about $60 and then a handling fee on top of that. Sucks but you should expect that when you order from the UK.

Hit or miss with the duties/taxes.
