This camcorder has 1/3" 3CMOS chips that records both to HDV tape and Compact Flash cards simultaneously allowing the convenience of quick editing and archival with tape. This is a perfect camcorder for the event videographer or indie filmmaker. The camcorder has the option for interchangeable lenses and with an additional adapter you can use Sony Alpha lenses with a 7x telephoto crop or other 1/3" bayonet broadcast mount lenses. The camcorder comes with the 12x Carl Zeiss 4,4 to 52,8 F1.6 Servo/Manual Zoom Lense, the Memory Recording Unit, two batteries, charger, and Sony ECM-XM1 condenser microphone.
