Interior Cleaning Shop

I just bought a cheap used car and would like some interior cleaning. It kind of smells and want a peace of mind.

I am not looking for an excellent job as my budget would be around $40-$80. Coffe stains, odor, dust/particles.

Thanks!

I use poorboys APC for my interiors. It won't crust up and leave residue like cheaper interior shampoos. You can use it on the dash, fabric, leather, etc.

If you don't have an extractor then:

- thoroughly vacuum
- use HOT water (helps get out stains)
- dilution ratio for PB APC for interiors is 30:1 (water:apc)
- use multiple microfiber/terry clothes
- blot and agitate with damp cloth (you can also use a fabric brush)
- blot with dry towel

Bump up the apc (15:1) if you need more cleaning power. After all is done, mix it into a spraying bottle, and use it like you would any other cleaner for upkeep.

Thanks! But I am actually looking for someone/shop who can provide the service. Not a big fan of cleaning the messy interior of a 10 year old beater car.

Your suggestions are very useful for my DD though :D

Totally missed that

I say man up and DIY, you'll keep money in your pocket. It can't be as bad as cleaning a public toilet haha.

Quick search shows that these places offer interior shampoo for $80. I don't know any of these places, but I'm interested to see the result if you do choose to do so.

I googled that too, maybe I will just shell out the $100. Will post before and after pics if I do it.

I'd rather clean a dirty toilet. At least I can just use a scrub and brush the shit off. For a car... I need to climb all over and try to reach small, dirty areas.

Take the seats off the rails :troll:

I actually did that with my old car, made it a hell of a lot easier to clean. Your car must be filthy, do want pics of before and after haha.

Don't know if they still have this going on or not but worth a call to find out if you're interested.

I got my car washed, vacumned and shampooed last summer at the dogwash on garden city for $30.
