Washington Emissions Versus Aircare I'm planning to import a swapped 1993 Supra TT (originally NA) with a USDM ECU. The seller says it passes Washington state Emissions no problem (has stock cats); are the pass standards the same as Aircare in BC? I know they test OBD, but what about the actual emissions levels? Sorry if this has been asked, I tried to search for it, but I couldn't find the answer. Thanks in advance. |
1993? Good luck. 1993 cars are required to go through the IM240 test. If the car is stock (which I will assume that it is) and retains a stock catalytic converter and ECU, you should pass unless something is terribly wrong. I don't know if you've already purchased the car but if not, get that car through a PPI before committing. I can't speak for the emissions standards between BC and WA nor do I know the standards for that particular car. You'll find out the standards for that vehicle AFTER the test. :p From the Aircare website: Quote:
