Electronics Tech Support

i'm sorta head hunting here as we have not found a suitable candidate for our department for the past few months. Anyways...let me know...

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide technical support to customers that result in problem resolution.
• Provide customer product training.
• Produce and update product support materials (technical advisories, method of procedures) under direction of Technical Support Supervisor .
• Enter all technical support calls in ERP (Syteline)..
• Enter and set up advance replacement shipments in ERP.
• Capture all business opportunities and handoff to the Technical Sales Team.
• Follow safe working practices at all times.
• On site problem solving.
• On site training.
• On site commissioning and maintenance on AC and DC power systems.
• Follow up with clients regarding outstanding advance replacements.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement within the team and external to the team to eliminate waste and improve processes and quality.
• Ability to identify opportunities for process and quality improvements, take action when possible and involve supervisor and management team when additional support is needed. Apply continuous improvement to all day to day activities

Credentials & Experience:

• Diploma/Degree Electronics (Technology) program or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of electricity fundamentals and electronics.
• Ability to converse clearly and concisely with customers in English.
• Ability to use a variety of test equipment.
• Ability to use and operate computer.

Special Requirements:
• Onsite customer training/service travel required.
• Participate in rotational 24/7 technical support coverage


Pay is good/great...depends on how you see it...

PM with resume and i'll pass it along to our HR (who i was just speaking with a few minutes ago)
