what are some good games for wii or ps3? I fractured my femur and my hip 2 weeks ago so im kinda out of commission for a couple months at least. I have a ps3 and a wii. I have cod but don't really like those kinda games. I also have nhl '11 and madden but i think they both suck lol. for my wii i have super mario bros but ive never played it and there are a few others. anyone have any suggestions. generally I have a pretty short attention span when it comes to gaming but maybe now that im stuck on the couch that might change, but maybe not i dunno. just looking for some fun game suggestions. any input? |
for a hack 'n slash i like ninja gaiden sigma 2. i believe it recently dropped in price to around $30 if you look around. since the PSN is back up you should just go online and d/l a bunch of demos to play around with and see if you like any of them. |
Red Dead Redemption great game, if you have time to kill, you can play it nice and slowly and do all the random tasks. |
More hack & slash for the PS3: God of War 3 (or 2, or 1) |

as one of the small supporters of the wii, i can suggest Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, Metroid Prime Corruption, Metroid Other M, Twilight Princess.. mostly any of the core games by Nintendo there is alot of hidden gems on that system as well, Manhunt 2, No More Heroes 2, Mad World.. as well as Goldeneye... Sonic Colours is also a really good game not saying u should buy all these games, if you can find someone to mod your wii, just download the third party games, my interest in nintendo products came back again after getting my 3ds and awaiting the reveal of the new Nintendo console |
donkey kong country returns is a pretty fun game, if you were a fan of the super nintendo releases |
PS3: GOW3, NFS |
Disguea 3 will easily kill 100+ hours for you for PS3. I love Mod Nation Racer too. |

Gran Turismo 5...LA Noire...Dead Space 2 edit: saw your short-attention span problem...don't bother with the first two i suggested lol...go download littlebigplanet and infamous for free |
Off the top of my head I'd say any version of ddr and any version of rock band or guitar hero drums. Sooo fun |
one or two opinions are too little go on metacritic and sort the top scores in descending order. lots of good ones for all platforms... well more for ps3 and 360 haha. |
Wayne gretzkey hockey for wii is super fun. But might get boring if you are playing single player Posted via RS Mobile |

You can start by downloading those. Although i do enjoy sports games.. Also i know what you mean by having a short attention span.. I hate playing games by myself.. So maybe look for something that has coop or a good multiplayer.. |

sounds like you have had your PSN for a while? if so you can pick 2 of the following 5 games: Dead Nation inFAMOUS Little Big Planet Super Stardust HD Wipeout HD + Fury I picked up Dead Nation and inFAMOUS, but if you've never played Little Big Planet I'd pick that over Dead Nation. Playing inFAMOUS right now and it's not bad. Or look up the 5 games and just pick 2 that fits your style lol ... free anyways |
lol ya i dont think ddr is a good idea guys haha i cannot move my lower body lol. i sent my friend to go get gt5 (i love this series especially early versions), and i also got her to pick up donkey kong. I am also downloading little big planet as well. I am sure all of these games are more than enough haha thank u for all the suggestions! |
Mass Effect 2. + Uncharted 2. 'nuff said. |
Played dead nation coop last night with the GF.. Was pretty fun just shooting zombies.. |
dynasty warriors 7 |
theres the free ps3 games for the welcome back package... that should tie up a good chunk of time (if u have a uk psn acct you can even get ratchet n clank quest for booty) great time wasters |
Uncharted 1 & 2 for sure. |
oh if you can get your hands on The Saboteur i definitely recommend it GTA meets WW2 |
