I joined when I was 14.. So Grade 9. Is there a problem with that? I find that there are many RSers my age when I meet them up for sales and trades. Tons of kids on the internet nowadays so it wouldn't be hard for them to stumble upon RS as it is a well known forum in the GVA with a good BST Forum.

I mean as long as younger members don't make immature and stupid posts its all good right?

mb_ 06-07-2011 08:29 PM

That police on the balcony is so baus

news article said ERT. assuming rcmp has an ERT too? or maybe the VPD were called down. it is an emergency situation after all

also why the hate on the younger members? we all gotta start somewhere. i thought this was an automotive enthusiast website. didn't know you had to be a certain age to be an automotive enthusiast

Someone's apparently been taken hostage too :S

When you're in a lockdown, you're not supposed to send out messages to the outside public. The school is supposed to handle that.

The problem is that we have 1000+ kids texting their parents. Parents find out there's a madman on the loose and a huge panic results. This aggravates the situation and can seriously screw up the police's work.

Posting after the incident is a much better idea.

Gumby 06-08-2011 08:30 AM

Haha love how the sniper has used the patio chairs to conceal his location.

Yes our teacher told us that, but only briefly, then she was cool with us doing anything basically LOL (maybe because she's only 24). I guess this lockdown is different from the usual ones because it was happening in the neighbourhood and not actually in our school. Nobody (in my classroom at least) called their parents but it's really hard not to go on our phones and laptops for a whole hour. It was all online anyway because people in the neighbourhood were already spamming Facebook.

Damn campers :troll:

Ya I agree, the more students publicize the event, the more parents/relatvies etc. Get involved and start getting in the way. It's like lindsay lohan trying to get to a club but can't, because papparazi keep harassing her
