this might be showing my age, but #9 in a Canucks jersey will always conjure Tanti memories

b0unce. [?] 10-03-2011 12:07 PM

Ohh and the mesh ripples as Cody Hodgson scores a beautiful goal in Hodgsonian-like-fashion wearing... trivia fans, Tony Tanti's old number #9.

and a brouhaha ensues
:lol

Up until yesterday, I was still bummed about the finals and was not pumped at all about hockey again..............up till I watched this clip. The time is NOW! Throw all you got Gillis, and lay EVERYTHING down on the line boys, cause we only have a short time to win it all!!

Everything rides on the Sedins, until they go beast mode in the playoffs its hard to see this team win it all. They need to hit point/game or more consistently. Every year I keep hoping lol

It was the Canuck's 7th man failure before games.
Lets never speak of this again.

For me it will always be Russ Courtnall lol

#7 will always be Cliff Ronning

UFO 10-03-2011 02:14 PM

^Russ and Pavel on the PK ftw. Their SH scoring percentage seemed to be about as good as the team's PP scoring percentage. I remember cheering for the Canucks to go on the PK back in the days.

Question regarding the Canucks schedule for those of us living out of province currently. I have Sportsnet Pacific (non-HD) somehow in Toronto, not sure why Rogers gave it to me when I signed up for basic cable, but I'm happy for their possible mistake.

Are games titled "SNET-P(HD)" shown on regular Sportsnet? And "SNET-VAN(HD)" would be Sportsnet One?

trip 10-03-2011 05:00 PM

should be blacked out by region

As long as you are OUT OF THE PROVINCE OF BC, All Canucks games will be blacked out on SNET

go subscribe to CenterIce. Should be that time of year in which telecom uses CenterIce to lure new customers

This was me during my fantasy hockey draft today:

"hmmmmm Phil Kessel is the next best pick and I think he will do well this year now that the Leafs have a better team... :suspicious:"

"But that would mean I have to cheer for the Leafs! :heckno:"

:fuckthatshit: *picks Christian Ehrhoff*

I think these non-leaf picks are gonna fuck me over in the pool lol

Tim Budong 10-03-2011 05:49 PM

Christian Ehrhoff is a better pick to BEGIN with

50pts with the Canucks

Buffalo has a great team, should be able to keep the same level of compete if not higher there for the Hoff

I needed more forwards and I really believe (to my dismay) Toronto will have a much more improved year this season. If not, at least their top guys will really step up especially Grabovski (I passed on him too fml).
