I'm looking at some fine tittays behind the batter's box in the Cardinal's game.

spoon.ek9 10-10-2011 05:56 PM

no, rejected. he was making a move on the girl beside him and she took his arm off of her lol. at least, that's what it looked like.

Tim Budong 10-10-2011 08:41 PM

still can't believe pretty much all our players bitched out to the bruins last year

mb_ 10-10-2011 08:58 PM

Missed the game due to work but saw the highlights.. :fuckyea:

I heard Ballard had a good game once again, hopefully he'll play like he did for the most part of the season. Will make the loss of Ehrhoff a lot easier.

woob 10-10-2011 09:48 PM

Ballard is flying. I wish we could have seen this version of Ballard last year.

i blame AV and the salary cap for that. mainly AV for not giving ballard a chance to gain any confidence or find some kind of rhythm with a partner BEFORE the playoffs began.

IIRC the only time we saw hammer, juice, ballard, hoff, salo and edler all together was the final game of the season.

To be honest guys
did Ballard impress you guys last year?
The same could be said for guys like Wade Redden and Sheldon Souray

Ballard getting a second chance, he himself should know what needs to be done to deserve the spot

As fans, we can only CRINGE at the cap number.

So fuck all of last regular season and go to the stanley cup finals. Did Ballard do much to replace Aaron Rome who's been playing GREAT hockey then?

!YaoShi 10-11-2011 12:13 AM

Ballard wasn't given many chances from AV to shine. And hen the rare chance came up, he wasn't the brightest he could be. So fail on both parts. I'm just glad to see ballard calm and pateint when he make the first pass out of the zone.

Where's Bertuzzi to cripple a guy when you need him. Captain is down and no one is calling for the other guy's head.

sp00n 10-11-2011 01:46 AM

trancehead 10-11-2011 01:55 AM

And another check in the column to rid the instigator penalty

AzNightmare 10-11-2011 02:42 AM

You guys have to remember that last year's game plan during the Boston series was to
turn the other cheek, go on the PP, and punish Boston from there.

Unfortunately, Canucks PP was crap, Tim Thomas was amazing, and Canucks was unable
to score any PP goals.

If Canucks was getting thrown around like a ragdoll, but were scoring during the PP's,
no one would say anything. In fact, Boston would have then lay off on their garbage play.

PornMaster 10-11-2011 03:47 AM

You guys have to remember that last year's game plan was to
get the refs to call all that bullshit

unfortunately, the refs were crap, the no calls were amazing, and canucks were unable to score any pp goals.

punkwax 10-11-2011 07:35 AM

Ballard didn't deserve a spot last year. He admitted it himself.

So far, he's playing very well. This is the Ballard I was expecting last year. He can step right in for Ehrhoff.

Where is Marco Sturm? If he doesn't show up quickly Higgins is going to be on Hodgson's wing.
