Before the game, Hordichuk said this: "I am big advocate of having a big guy on the fourth line just to protect those guys. It's great when I get into a game like this because those are the guys (Sedins) you want to try to abuse on the ice." 5 seconds into his first shift, tries to hit Ballard, get's himself injured: http://myimg.us/images/10.16.11/20958.gif  Ballard was probably thinking: :fuckthatshit: |

Why would we be doing that right now seeing as we're not exactly loaded on D-men and Ballard who has been great so far this season. Besides, relatively sure I read an article citing from either Ballard or his agent saying that Gillis will not be trading him this year. And who the fuck reports for the fourth period? |

CRS has already pointed out why, reasonably, this moves makes no sense for the Canucks. Augment that with Fourth Period not having established itself as a reputable source and a bum Ottawa Sun link, and I think is is PURE horseshit. If it's true, I'll shit a brick. |

Two of hockey's classiest guys. |
what in the fuck. if they trade ballard (i'm 95% sure they won't) i'll definitely be all :fulloffuck: |
Keith Ballard, that contract only works well for teams looking at hitting cap floor and with the CBA expiring, its even harder to trade his contract that is all looking at STRICTLY NUMBERS With the void left by Ehrhoff, Ballard becomes an important piece of the pie for the Canucks. I'll be the first to say Im not a big fan of Ballard, hes not going anywhere. Ballard has shown signs of improvement already, coupled with the fact that it seems like him and Tanev look great together. Tanev can mentor Ballard, thus his worth a leader comes into play. The Canucks prospects dont look too promising either in terms of whos actually ready |
